Camp of All Camps

This week is all about variety and having fun! You may get to swim at Como pool, shoot arrows, play sports, make crafts, hike to Como Woodlands/Zoo, go canoeing, ride your bike, play mini-golf and more. Every week is different and the last week is themed around the State Fair! If you love variety, choosing your own adventure and being outside, this camp is for you!

Lego Robotics Camp

LEGO robotics camps give campers the opportunity to explore STEM skills in a fun and hands-on camp setting. These all-day camps are a perfect way for kids to start learning more about coding, programming, and robotics. During this camp, campers will work in teams and learn the basics of building and programming a LEGO Spike Prime Robot to complete a variety of fun & exciting robot challenges! Each team will have mentors from the GRS Mythical robotics teams to guide them through the exciting world of coding and building robots.

A Play in Four Days

12 Angry Villains-"Peter Pan is on trial for the death of an innocent pirate named Captain Hook. A jury of twelve of the most famous villains will decide Pan's fate, if only they could stop arguing long enough to take a vote." During this full day camp, we will be producing a one act play, with a performance on the last day of camp. Students will learn basic acting techniques, play theatre games and be immersed in the experience of putting on a play.

Urban Biking Adventures

Join us on 4 days of urban biking fun! We will spend the majority of the morning and afternoon exploring the Twin Cities by bike, with a different destination each day (to be announced at a later date!) When we reach our destination we will break for lunch, relax a bit, and then head back to GRS. The routes we will take will primarily involve bike paths and bike lanes, and we will be practicing safe, respectful, collaborative bike etiquette the entire time. Each day your student will ride between 15 and 25 miles, depending on the destination. Folks who sign up should be capable of spending several hours riding. This type of riding is great exercise, allows students to see the cities from a different perspective, and is excellent preparation for the Adolescent Bike Trip that GRS students go on every spring in 7th and 8th grade!
