We'll be doing a variety of crafts this week, so clear your fridge and get more magnets!  This camp allows campers to explore their inner artist. Paints, pencils, printmaking, yarn, clay, beads...the list goes on and on! This camp gives campers the opportunity to explore and express themselves creatively.

Bugs, Dirt and Worms

In this camp, we'll explore the outdoors, observing all sorts of living things!  Every day we'll observe different plants, and experience the life of a different critter through crafts, games, and up close observation. Build bug habitats, use magnifying glasses, and grow a new plant during this week-long nature exploration!

Puppet Makers

Campers will make different styles of puppets, including finger puppets, sock puppets, shadow puppets, and more. Students will develop their own puppet characters and stories, play, and perform together.  This is a great way to bring out your camper's creativity and imagination!

World of Water

Need a fun way to cool off on a hot summer day? Then this camp is calling your name! This week is all about water and having fun in the sun. We will play water games, run through the sprinklers, do experiments and crafts that involve water, throw water balloons and go through the kid car wash. Cardboard Creations

Do you want to build a giant boat? How about a spaceship or robot? Maybe even a life-size Minecraft character! Your imagination and creativity is the limit in this camp. We will have loads of cardboard, duct tape and sample ideas for campers to build the creation of their dreams.

All Things Nature

Our youngest campers will be exploring our natural world, right here at GRS.  Campers will spend time in our garden discovering and caring for our plants, investigating our insects, and maybe even tasting some berries, herbs, or whatever is ready to harvest.  This camp will also focus on animals, nature art, and free play outside.

What's Your Version of Fun?

This camp is all about choices and allowing your camper to decide what they would like to do.  Throughout the morning, we'll provide 2 choices for the campers.  Would they rather do a craft or shoot stomp rockets?  Do they want to play a game or listen to a book?  Do they want to dance to some music or build with Legos?  Your camper is sure to find something they enjoy with all of these choices!

Silly Science

This one is a GRS Classic.  Campers may create their own play dough, make squishy slime, launch rockets, explode a volcano, cause an amazing reaction and/or experiment with oobleck or even create their own crystals! This camp is perfect for the curious, budding scientist who likes to get messy and experiment, while learning about chemistry and the laws of physics.

Move Your Body

We'll move like different animals, move to music, move in big ways outside with games, move in smaller ways (move your face to show different emotions). We'll move fast and slow, high and low. We'll also hear stories about people and animals and all the ways they move their bodies. This camp is for kids who love to move and learn!
